Our Teachers

We feel that choosing the right teachers is one of the most important attributes of a quality child care facility. Our teachers are certified for the position they hold as required by the state of Wisconsin Department of Family Services. Most if not all, currently possess a 2-4 year degree or working towards one.

Our Lead and Full Time Teachers teach from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm. Our Opening and Closing Teachers open the center in the morning and close it in the evening. From 8:00am to 8:15am our Opening Teachers and our Full Time Teachers debrief the morning’s events and again the afternoon from 4:15 to 4:30pm they debrief the day’s events to ensure consistency in communication regarding your requests in the morning or curiosity about your little ones day.

You will rarely see a strange face when dropping your little one off or in picking them up as our teachers who open and close are assigned to a room to ensure as consistent experience as possible during a families and teachers time here at Little Minds Learning Center.

Before starting in the fall of 2009 at Little Minds Learning Center I had four previous years of childcare experience specifically with toddlers and infants. I have a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from St. Cloud State University and I am currently going to Argosy University to get my Masters in Clinical Psychology. In my future as a psychologist I hope to mainly work with adolescents and children. I love to be outside whenever I can but you can also find me inside reading a good book, embroidering, or watching one of my favorite sports teams which include the Minnesota Wild, Minnesota Twins, Miami Dolphins and Minnesota Vikings. My favorite part of LMLC is working with the wonderful children here and seeing them grow throughout their experience here!

Little Professors
  • Casie Carow - Lead Teacher

I reside in River Falls, Wisconsin with my husband and have worked towards being a teacher for many years: being a teacher assistant during my high school years in the cognitively disabled room, tutoring, and volunteering through many endeavors. I attended the University of Wisconsin-River Falls and graduated with a degree in Elementary Education in December of 2009. My experience within the university system has been everywhere from first to sixth grade. I worked at Little Minds Learning Center in the summer of 2009 and then returned as an interim in the infant room January of 2010. After only a couple weeks I was moved to the lead teaching position in the Little Discoverers room, and—now—I am teaching in the Little Professors room. Working with these children has quickly become my life. My goal is, ultimately, to ready these children for a transition to Kindergarten. This is done through interaction with other children, specific attention to teacher instruction, large and small group activities, number recognition and writing, and letter recognition and writing. Open and direct communication with parents (to better the development of their children) is also very important to me.
